Summary of Dr. Hack Péter’s Sermon on March 26, 2023
In the life of a believer, prayer is very important because it opens up the spiritual reality. The Bible teaches that God is spirit, so those who want to come into fellowship with Him must approach Him with their spirit; it cannot be done with human understanding alone because God is much greater than our intellect. Moreover, human reasoning often contradicts God, as some of our thoughts come from Satan. We should not be believers because of circumstances, but from inner conviction.
WHOEVER APPROACHES GOD, HE WILL APPROACH THEM.
Technical gadgets, especially which have screens pose great threat to people, as they steal time that could be spent with God and with people. The devil wants to destroy human relationships by offering substitutes. As a result, people’s communication skills are deteriorating significantly. However, according to the Word, there is power of life in our speech. Those who cannot communicate with people will not be able to communicate with God, which is a significant obstacle to prayer.
WE MUST TELL GOD WHAT CONCERNS US AND KNOW HOW TO LISTEN TO HIS RESPONSE.
We must see Christ in His reality, not as a child or as crucified. Only a person who has not read the story to the end thinks that the crucifixion was the end of the story, whereas it continues and is good news for believers who have received an invitation to a glorious and mighty inheritance.
WE MUST TAKE POSSESSION OF OUR INHERITANCE FROM CHRIST, WHO HAS IMMEASURABLY GREAT POWER AND WANTS TO USE US IN HIS WORK.
The Bible claims that everything visible came from the invisible. Today, the cult of death has become extremely strong in the world, behind which are spiritual forces. It also means that the ongoing war in Ukraine was not generated by humans alone, but by spiritual forces, and peace will not come through human will, but through the Prince of Peace.
Those who have fears should ask for God’s revelation. Healing and blessings do not come from our own abilities, but from Christ who lives in us. Activation of His power is possible through revelation, but we must ask for it. God provides assistance and cares for us with love.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT IT IS NOT THE BABY JESUS WHO LIVES IN OUR HEARTS, BUT THE RISEN, GLORIOUS LORD.
Born-again people are capable of overcoming sin, but this also means responsibility. After His resurrection, Christ was given all power in Heaven and on Earth, and if He is within us, this power is available to us.
GOD HAS PREPARED A WAY FOR US. IN CHRIST, WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, AND WE HAVE RECEIVED HIS POWER.
God is the giver of life, so we should not rely on the tradition of being sprinkled with water. If we have done so in the past, we can and should turn away from it. Easter is not about sprinkling or rabbits, but about celebrating the glory of the resurrection.
THE RISEN JESUS CHRIST IS NO LONGER IN SERVANT FORM, AS HE WAS DURING HIS EARTHLY LIFE, SO WE CANNOT CREATE A CONCEPT OF HIM THROUGH STATUES OR PICTURES.
In the last days, every person will see Him in His glory. It is God’s will that our spirits open through revelation so that we may know Him.
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A PERSON WHO HAS SENSITIVITY. WE CAN GRIEVE HIM, BUT IN THE BEST CASE, HE GIVES VISIONS AND REVELATIONS, AND IT DEPENDS ON THE BELIEVER’S ATTITUDE.
God invites us into His glory. In some places Christianity is powerless because it is not in Christ there, and therefore it has no power. We must be careful not to fall from grace because the inheritance is ours, and we can enjoy the victory as conquerors. We can ask for the power of God’s Spirit and live with the knowledge that we are victorious. With the Lord, we can jump over stone walls and run through enemy camps.
