The Book of Acts is an essential book for the Church because the condition of renewal is the return to the roots, cleansed from human thoughts. This book of the Bible is unfinished, so we believe that we still live this book today, what is even more, we continue it!

First, religious envy stood in the way of the spreading of the Gospel, then the leaders of secular power also tried to prevent it. When the Church preaches the coming of the kingdom of God it inevitably collides with secular power.

Using the power of the state in the hands of Agrippa Herod, Satan wanted to baffle the spreading of the Gospel through. On the other hand, it would also be inappropriate if the Church wanted to force people to believe. History has already proved this method to be wrong and destructive to apply.

Apostle Paul started his missionary journey in Cyprus. The mission and ministry of Paul and Barnabas had been preceded by the prayer and fast of spiritual people, thus they had become able to hear the word of the Holy Spirit.

We have to bring ourselves into a condition in which we can understand what is God’s will with our lives. Therefore, we should not try to mimic the ministry others, but instead we ought to seek where the Holy Spirit wants to send us.

As a result of the anointed and blessed ministry, the minister will become a good letter of the Gospel and an outstanding testimony in front of outsiders. Therefore, it is important to place our emotions, thoughts, and whole being under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

The governor of Cyprus, Sergius Paulus was listening to Paul’s speech, but an occult magician, Bar-Jesus tried to turn him away from faith. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, as did so Apostle Paul during his conflict with Bar-Jesus.

The future will be determined on a spiritual level. During there is a spiritual battle in favour of a person we can only become victorious by the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.

This is due to the fact that the Devil generates strongholds, arguments, and high things in people’s lives, so as to prevent them in getting to know God. These argument systems have to be destroyed by the power of the Holy Spirit, otherwise if they remain intact they will constantly separate the person from getting to know God. This is especially true for people being in responsible positions.

Let it be our conviction, that our prayers make sense: As the result of persistent prayers the spiritual atmosphere can be altered in a city, region or even in a country.

We should not be angry with the people who are hostile towards us, because they are victims of the Devil who exploits them in favour of his own purposes. It is important to receive power first from the Holy Spirit, because he makes us to be good witnesses of Jesus Christ.
